Santa Ana College offers a UNIX Certificate, consisting of the following 5 courses:

You must get a grade of C or better in the required certificate classes.
There is no time limit for completing all the required classes.
To receive your Certificate, you must fill out a form from the "Graduation/Certificate office." (I don't know where that is.) This can be done during the semester in which you complete the required classes.
If you did not take CS 141 but do pass CS 241 and 242 with a high grade, you may be able to request a waiver of the CS 141 requirement.
If the catalog description of the certificate rules differs from above, follow the catalog rule and please let me know so I can correct the above statements.
If a class needed for the certificate is not offered very often (e.g. CS 243), I have heard that some students have been able to request from the division dean or department chair that an alternative course be accepted in its place.
